Applying leadership and 21st century skills, participants collect data, conduct an analysis of the data, and make predictions about the outcomes. Participants document their research and summarize their findings in a scientific poster. Semifinalists participate in a twenty-four hour semifinal challenge visually representing their data.

There is no limit for number of entries for state.

It is the contestant’s responsibility to check this site and make sure they are using the most up to date information for each contest.
This event has a virtual option. Semifinalist teams create a digital representation of their data using a platform of their choice and report for a presentation/interview.
If you are registered for the virtual event, all components of the entry must be finished, submitted and accessible via the Internet by 11:59 pm on March 17, 2021.
