Using leadership and 21st century skills, participants prepare for and take a test of basic forensic science theory to qualify as semifinalists. Each year, three (3) skills or techniques will be posted under the Themes and Problems page on the TSA website. Participants must be familiar with, and able to demonstrate all three (3) skills. Semifinalists demonstrate one (1) selected skill to the judges.
