Using leadership and 21st century skills, participants conduct research on a contemporary medical technology issue of their choosing, document their research and solution, and present their documentation through a static display. The entry may include student research or a re-creation or simulation of research performed by the scientific community. A student-designed model or prototype depicting an aspect of the issue will also be included in addition to the display. Semifinalists participate in an on-site presentation. Semifinalists in the virtual event will present their topic and be interviewed.

Entries are limited to one team of two or more per chapter

*Top ten finalist will be interviewed.

This event has a virtual option. If you are registered for the virtual event, all components of the entry must be finished, submitted and accessible via the Internet by 11:59 pm on March 17, 2021.
