Candidates for the Office of President

Alexander Loney

Edmond North High School

Hey Oklahoma TSA! This past year has been amazing and I'm so excited to continue next year as your State President! Even though we can't be together, I still want to share a few of my goals with everyone. To start, I would like to bring back the TSA store. Designs would be showcased on social media and our website. Pre-orders will hopefully then be made available to be delivered at FLC. My 2nd goal is to continue building our social media presence. We dove into it hard this year with quality productions and my team will continue to deliver the best content. One of the last major goals is to innovate the Competition Sample Library. An interactive competition wheel on the website will allow members to easily find a competition event in minutes. For more information, check out my video on the website and social media. Stay safe and vote for the one and only, Alexander Loney!

Jamil Matin

Claremore High School

Hey OKTSA, so here's the deal. I'm running to be your next president. This is going to be one of the most important things in my life, because being your president would allow me to make the next year the most memorable year in your TSA career.  I know everyone is dealing with a lot but this election is important as it dictates the upcoming year. So please be sure to watch and listen to not only my speech but the other candidates as well.  If you don't have time then here's a little rundown of my plans and ideas for the future.

  • Keep making OKTSA awesome!

  • Get more commonality between the two regional teams and also give more responsibility to them

  • Keep making more resources available to the members, such as videos explaining topics or guides to events.

  • Get more communication not only between members at conferences but with other state officer teams to make our TSA experience some of the best it can be.

  • Get the winners workshop up and running

  • Create a program between OKTSA and colleges in our state

  • Talk to and meet more members

Thank you for taking the time to visit the website and remember vote Jamil because there's no better deal!

Candidates for Pool Election

Molly Andrews

Claremore High School

If elected as an officer, my first goal would be to grow and strengthen our current chapters by making TSA more publicized. When our current chapters strengthen, I believe it will also make TSA more welcoming to newer members. My second goal is to alter how we vote at state conferences by transitioning to electronic voting on bit.ly. This would allow for less voting mistakes, it would be quicker and save paper. My third and final goal is to increase social media interaction with members by doing a q and a on our Instagram story at least once a month. You can contact me through Instagram for any more questions @molly_.10 and don't forget by golly vote molly!

Noah Carter

Francis Tuttle Technology Center

As one of your next state officers, I would like to promote greater AI representation in events, improve regional and chapter relations, and so much more. As anyone who know me will tell you, I stick to my goals and strive to make a positive difference in the lives of people around me. I cannot wait to see what this year has in store for Oklahoma TSA!

Kaiden Gregory

Newkirk High School

Hey, Oklahoma TSA. I have many goals for this year, but there is one I feel is most important. That goal is creating an Oklahoma TSA Discord server. What is Discord? It is an app that lets you create a chat room along with sub chat rooms. Our main chat room would just be a general chat room where all of the Oklahoma TSA members can chat and bond with one another. The sub chat rooms would be all TSA events, so that if someone is struggling with a project they can go to their event's chat room and ask for assistance from fellow TSA members. I have many smaller goals I'd like to achieve this year as well. I hope to see everyone of you this year!

Manuvel Sibichan

Edmond Santa Fe

Hey OKTSA! I hope everyone is doing well and is being safe during this pandemic. In short, I want to be on the 2020-2021 state officer team because of three reasons. First of all, I have been in TSA for 6 years now. I've had various experiences from placing top ten at Nationals to being in nearly every chapter officer role. Second of all, I have been in several leadership positions and I believe I have what it takes to be part of the team that leads OKTSA. I have helped raise hundreds of thousands of dollars for charity and have volunteered nearly a thousand hours for our community. I've been in positions that I've grown immensely from such as being chapter president, a student council senator, a varsity tennis player and a community volunteer. If allowed the chance, I want to be able to share what I've learned with you all.  Lastly, this upcoming year is my last year in TSA. Before my high school career is over, I want to be able to give as much back as possible. That alone should show you how much I am willing to give it my all. I wish the best for everyone and I hope you allow me to positively impact OKTSA by voting for Manuvel Sibichan.

Camryn Grabeal

Boone-Apache High School
What's up OKTSA? I'm a small girl with some BIG visions for the 2020-21 year. From giving new chapters the resources to succeed, to distinguishing TSA from airport security by increasing involvement. I want to help implement changes in our organization that not only us, but future generations would benefit from as well.  Thank you for considering me for this year's State Officer Team.

Gaby Medina

Commerce High School

Hey OKTSA! My name is Gaby Medina and I'm ecstatic to be running for state office! I'm so grateful to have the opportunity to take the next step in leading this organization. I would love to share my ideas with all of you through Instagram.  Please don't hesitate to reach out to me!

Jacob Thomas

Edmond Santa Fe
Hey TSA, my name is Jacob Thomas and I am running to be your next State Officer. I am a junior at Santa Fe and Francis Tuttle and I have been involved in TSA for five years. If elected, I would increase social media usage, have more chapter visits, improve the website and improve the overall TSA experience. Redefine 2020.

Eva Wymer

Edmond North

Hey Oklahoma TSA! My name is Eva Wymer and I'm so excited to be running for state! I want to create a Women in STEM Program to encourage more young women to explore Careers in the STEM field and reach their full potential as leaders in their communities and TSA. I also want to increase membership by increasing TSA's involvement in communities by encouraging community service and philanthropy. Finally, I hope to create committee opportunities that create more opportunities for leadership in OKTSA, and give you more of a voice in your delegation. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me at my email, evawymer@gmail.com; my Instagram, @evawymerr. I can't wait to talk to you!

Brian Yang

Stillwater High School

Hey guys! I am super excited to be running for state office because I am passionate about this organization and I would love to meet as many of you as possible in this upcoming year! TSA is an organization where people make lifelong friends and I want to share that experience with you guys! I want to make it my goal to increase membership by reaching out to chapters and preparing them on maintaining chapters throughout middle and high school. I hope you all are doing well during quarantine!
