Structural Design and Engineering HS
All event cover pages must be prepared as if the students are going to national conference June 27- July 1, 2020 in Nashville, TN.

Participants work as a team to build a designated structure that is posted on the TSA website. Teams apply the principles of structural design and engineering through research, design, construction, destructive testing, and assessment to determine the design efficiency of the structure.
Event Guidelines are located on the National TSA website under your chapter advisor login screen, select Total TSA from the dropdown menu.
Entries are limited to a team of two individuals per chapter.
In accordance with National TSA Event 2019-2020 Problem Statement, structural model is submitted in fabricated box, constructed from standard poster board. The size of the box to be 18” long, 10” wide, and 5” deep.
*No Semifinalist on-site structure construction.
*Semifinalist teams will sign up for a LEAP interview time.
