# Description
Participants conduct research on a contemporary medical technology issue related to the annual theme, document their research, create a display, and build a prototype. Semifinalists deliver a presentation about their entry and participate in an interview.
# Theme 2026-2027
Theme: Pulmonological Conditions & Modern Technologies to Address them: teams will select a respiratory-related condition and outline it in the display. Then, teams will select a modern medical technology that will be highlighted by the informational pamphlet and multimedia video.
