# Description
Applying leadership and 21st century skills, participants demonstrate knowledge of artificial intelligence (AI) concepts, models, and best practices by completing a test to qualify for semifinals. Semifinalist teams solve an onsite problem(s) using a generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) tool. Completed solutions are objectively measured to determine the best solution for the stated problem.

Entries are limited to two (2) teams of two (2) individuals per chapter.
# State Competition Information
Team members will take an online exam over AI concepts, models, and best practices at the State Qualifier to determine the semifinalists for the onsite challenge. Students will take the test individually and scores will be averaged for a team score. Information for registering for the state qualifier can be found here.
Participants must bring:
Laptop capable of running solely on battery power for up to two (2) consecutive hours
one (1) spare battery
pencil and paper
No WiFi is available so all software development tools needed for the competition must be downloaded and accessible.
