The State Qualifier will be conducted in a streamlined, event-specific format. Students registered in speech and debate competitions will be assigned a scheduled competition time prior to the conference. Advisors will be able to print an individualized schedule for each student through the registration system.
Competitors participating in testing events may test at any time during designated testing windows; however, all members of a team must be present and begin testing at the same time. Tests are completed individually. Students are expected to bring their own device for testing; however, a limited number of devices will be available on site for those who need to borrow one.
Once students have finished all of their scheduled events, they are free to leave the site. No awards will be presented at the State Qualifier; however, students who advance will receive a State Qualifier pin included in their State Leadership Conference registration packet. Results will be posted on the website once finalized.
